There are many benefits associated with early HIV treatment. In most cases, individuals with this virus are released a plan that includes taking a unique combination of medications that are referred to as “Antiretroviral”.

These types of medications work to control the level of the virus that is within your body. Individuals that undergo treatments have longer life expectancy and drastically reduce their risks for entering into the last stage of the illness, which is referred to as AIDS. In addition to this, those that engage in this type of treatment are less likely to experience various types of illnesses as a result of a weakened immune system.

If an HIV patient takes part in early HIV treatment they will not experience symptoms that are severe. The severity is drastically reduced. In the early stages of HIV, the virus is known to multiply at an extremely fast pace.

This increases the CD4 cell count and could result in many medical complications. Those that are engaging in a treatment plan typically do not face these complications. Those that participate in a treatment program will experience a slower progression in the illness than those that elect to avoid going through therapy.

Participating in early HIV treatment is extremely beneficial. However, there are some risks associated with early treatment. The most common are the side effects that are experienced. Over time, these side effects will eventually disappear, but they may prove to be quite troublesome for the sufferer.

Many individuals may develop a type of resistance to the medications that are used when it comes to early HIV treatment. The patient may also become dependent on the treatment.

Despite the fact that there are risks involved, the benefits outweigh the risks that are present. Early HIV treatment is actually a productive move for those that have been diagnosed with this potentially fatal virus.

HIV is the first stage of AIDS and since most people don’t experience any symptoms during this stage. The only way to know that you are infected

when you are still experiencing the HIV stage, is to get tested at your local clinic. Anyway, if you are tested before your immune system starts to

respond to the virus, you will test negative for the disease.

The reason for this is because when your immune system starts to weaken due to the HIV virus, it begins to produce antibodies. When you are tested

for HIV, the test searches for these antibodies in your blood, when the antibodies are not present, the test will rule you negative for the virus. Other

than the fact that you are HIV positive and falsely told that you are negative for the disease, you are able to unknowingly infect others and therefore

spread the disease.

There are three main ways to become infected with HIV. These include sex with an infected partner, sharing needles with an infected person, or being

conceived and delivered from an infected mother. Over one million Americans are currently living with HIV or AIDS. However, the statistic that is

even a harder one to swallow is the fact that about a quarter of those people don’t even know that they’re infected.

The good news is that thousands of doctors and facilities are devoted to the treatment, but more importantly the prevention of the spread of HIV and

AIDS. Due to manufacturing laws in the United States, however, prices for these treatments are astronomical. The problem doesn’t lie with the

companies who are producing these medications, but with the laws that restrict them and charge them enormous fees to produce the drugs.

Therefore, they have no choice other than to sell the drug to the public at an inflated price just to turn a profit. The good news is that a small company

out of India has begun manufacturing HIV treatment medications at a low, affordable price because India is not required to pay the fees to the

pharmaceutical companies that American companies do. This company is offering you Atripla at over seventy-five percent off of the price that you

would find in America.

Atripla is an anti-HIV medication that is a cocktail of three different drugs. Many HIV treatment medications are referred to as cocktails because

most contain a combination of drugs that work together to treat the patient as efficiently as possible. Atripla contains 600 mg of Sustiva, 300 mg of

Emtriva, and 200 mg of Viread. These three drugs work together to treat the disease, although they are also offered individually for sale as

treatment.

Atripla is also used in prevention and treatment of the Hepatitis B Virus, a virus known to cause Hepatitis B. Atripla is recommended to be taken

once a day, usually at bedtime. Although currently offered by two companies in the United State, you will not find another company who offers this

crucial element in your recovery at a more affordable price. Other HIV medications for treatment also include Truvada, OraQuick and Rapid

HIV patients often lack specific vitamins including Vitamins A, B1, B6, B12, C, E, and folate. Vitamins A, B, and E are effective in strengthening the immune system of a person, which is very much vital for HIV patients because a strong immune system can resist the development of further complication and infection.

Foods rich in Vitamin B1 include meat, liver, nuts and grains; while beans, vegetable and banana are rich in Vitamin B6. Eating soy products will provide supply of Vitamin B12. It is a common knowledge that citrus fruits and green leafy vegetables are loaded with Vitamin C. This is one of the most essential vitamins for HIV patients because of the well-known antioxidant accomplishment of Ascorbic Acid. It is effective in clearing out cell and tissue-damaging particles.

Other vitamins for HIV:

Research has shown that HIV-positive individuals are most likely Vitamin B12 deficient. As such, their bodies become more prone to infections. Vitamin B12 deficiency could lead to fatigue, neuropathy, depression, rashes, and anemia. On the other hand, taking an increased dosage of Vitamin B12 helps in the inhibition of lymphocytes and monocytes.

Vitamin A and its food form, Beta-carotene help in boosting the formation of helpful body chemicals that fights off the ill effects of HIV. Therefore, people that are HIV-positive should make it a point to take increased dosage of Beta-carotene or Vitamin A. However, there are studies showing that certain HIV-positive patients produce some negative effects when subjected to high dosage of Vitamin A. Therefore, it is important that patients consult with their doctors first so that the actual benefits of Vitamin A are assessed right on.

HIV is a condition that affects the entire body of a person. And since it attacks the body’s immune system and doesn’t have a cure yet, doctors have decided that aggressive nutrition is what’s required.

HIV-positive patients are required to take in substantial vitamins and minerals in their body to help in the fight against the ill effects of AIDS.

It is however crucial to note that excessive vitamin intake can also be harmful. Vitamins should only be taken in recommended dosages especially vitamins in pharmaceutical form like pill or syrup and not from natural sources. Vitamin deficiencies in HIV patients put them at a greater risk of HIV disease advancing to AIDS and later on become more intense which may lead them to death. Because of this, it has been emphasized that requirements of vitamins for HIV patients should be higher than the average requirement for normal and healthy persons.

Today, HIV-positive people continue to face discrimination in their everyday lives, in housing matters, medical care, insurance, and employment. The good news is that many charities and organizations all over the country are taking action.
Now, there are legal limits to restrict accommodations to be “reasonable”. The understanding is that an adjustment does not cause undue strain to the company, which is determined based on operating budget, facility size, number of employees, and more. Acceptable and expected accommodations include an alteration in job structure, more flexible hours to allow for medical appointments, or special office arrangements including a sitting stool if the job is usually performed standing up.

The late stage of the condition leaves individuals prone to opportunistic infections and tumors. Although treatments for AIDS and HIV exist to slow the virus’s progression, but, there is no known cure.

There is currently no vaccine or cure for HIV or AIDS. The only known method of prevention are based on avoiding exposure to the virus or failing that an antiretroviral treatment directly after a highly significant exposure, called post-exposure prophylaxis.
